Yukti Ummaneni is a freshman, undergraduate honors student majoring in biomedical engineering. She is also on a pre-med track and wants to pursue a career in medicine. She is from Edison, NJ, and graduated from the Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences. Yukti hopes to learn as much as she can before working in the lab in the following semester and is interested in the medical applications of tissue engineering and drug/gene delivery. In her free time, she enjoys reading a wide variety of books, watching tv shows and the occasional sports games, and listening to music.
