Olivia Rice
Graduate Student
Olivia is a senior undergraduate biomedical engineering student with a concentration in biomaterials and tissue engineering. Olivia is from central Massachusetts and loves traveling around New England. On campus, Olivia works at the Korey Stringer Institute where she focuses on public health initiatives for sports safety. She also is a part of Husky Ambassadors and loves volunteering on open house weekends. She is excited to work with Dr. Chen on researching the blood-brain barrier and modeling techniques. For the future, Olivia is looking into receiving a Master’s degree in biomaterials and hopes to work in research and development.
