Ngoc Luu (goes by Kate as well) is a senior in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics. Her senior thesis is “Skin Regeneration on Piezoelectric Polylactic Acid Scaffold”. She fabricates a biodegradable nanofibrous scaffold to facilitate the wound healing process. She is currently working with Dr. Zhou on investigating applications of self-assembled nano-matrix in tissue engineering. Her hobby is photography and she starts learning to play the piano.
