Biomedical Engineering


Kaitlyn Yeh is a senior, undergraduate honors student. She is currently studying biomedical engineering and pursuing minors in math, molecular and cell biology, and sociology. In addition, she is following a pre-medicine track and is currently applying to medical school. She is a recent recipient of the UConn IDEA Grant for her senior thesis project, “Bone-on-Chip: Engineering a Tissue Chip to Model the Human Bone Environment”, and will be working with Dr. Chen and Anne Yau to complete this project. 
Outside of the lab, Kaitlyn enjoys running, serving as a student leader in Cru at UConn, and watching football (Go Patriots!). She is working on her rock climbing and attempting to cook in her dorm with her friends.
