Avin Sapowadia is a sophomore, undergraduate honors student majoring in Molecular Cell Biology and is on a pre-med track. He is from South Windsor, CT, and graduated from South Windsor High School. He is currently working with Dr. Yupeng Chen and Dr. Libo Zhou to focus on tissue regeneration.

In his free time, Avin enjoys playing and watching tennis, reading, and listening to music. He is also an active Crisis Text Line Counselor and is involved in clubs/organizations such as Huskies for Haiti, Ping Pong club, Dean of Students Advisory Group, and East Hall Association
